​虹 Rainbow

这套画作是作为课程结业作品出现的。一开始，我几乎没有任何思路，而后续完整的作品却让我感觉到意外地满意。

那是在2018年的香港大学，我坐在旧图书馆里正待修葺的负一层完成自己的作业，顺手就用手绘板在ps中勾勒出了蜷在一团的线条。后来逐渐出现人脸、背影、褶皱阴影等，画面细节慢慢丰满清晰。深红色的使用纯粹是下意识的反应，而最开始的线索出现之后，后续的后续的作品就自然而然完整了。

每一种色彩对应不同的情绪，可能会有顺应或者看似对立的信息出现，将画面的调整的更为平衡。是的，“平衡”是这组作品中竟然会小心去注意的点，这也是我十分意外的一个细节。在后续的回想总结之中，我愈发感受到画作和我心境的相互印衬。例如：黄色的“Side by side”是我一开始就非常笃定的，会使用这样的文字搭配这样的情绪；一定要是闪耀的色彩，也一定要有坦白的、炙烈的、平铺直叙的表达和渴望。

人生曲折，欲求总是藏在深深深处。曾几何时我们都是可以勇敢表达、乐于相信的天真孩童，而成长时而阳光明媚，时而大雨倾盆。我希望自己无论经历什么，都能一直拥有坚定坦诚的力量。

This set of paintings was created as part of a course final project. At first, I had almost no ideas, but the final complete work surprised me with how satisfied I felt.

It was in the old library of the University of Hong Kong in 2018, and I was working on my assignment on the B1 floor that was being repaired. I casually drew curled lines on my graphics tablet in Photoshop. Gradually, faces, silhouettes, creases, and shadows emerged, and the details of the picture became gradually more vivid. The use of deep red was just an instinctive response, and once the initial clue appeared, the subsequent works naturally fell into place.

Each color corresponds to a different emotion, and there may be information that seems to be conforming or contradictory, which makes the adjustment of the picture more balanced. Yes, "balance" is a point that I surprisingly paid close attention to in this set of works, and it is also a detail that I am particularly surprised about in retrospect. In the subsequent reflection and summary, I increasingly feel the mutual influence between the painting and my state of mind. For example, "Side by side" in yellow was something I was very determined to use as a phrase that combined with that emotion; it had to be a sparkling color, and it had to have frank, passionate, and straightforward expressions and desires.

Life is full of twists and turns, and our desires are always hidden deep inside. There was a time when we were all innocent children who could express ourselves bravely and were willing to believe. During our growth, sometimes the sun shines brightly, and sometimes it pours with rain. I hope that no matter what I experience, I can always have the strength of firmness and frankness.
